The first present

　　6/6 is my 19-year-old birthday. I went back to Taipei this holiday, and because I will not go back next week, my parents gave me my birthday present in advance. At first, I wanted to buy a lot of Korean clothes because they are more beautiful and more unique than clothes in Taiwan. But I changed my mind, I could buy those things by myself, so iPod Touch would be a better choice. After I decided my present, my efficiently father brought me to 3c store to buy a 32GB iPod Touch that night. I was so excited, although I have a lot of mp3s, I've never bought an iPod. Because I thought using iPod is more complicated than normal mp3s(which is exactly the truth). But now I need more capacity to afford all of my songs, that's why I chose iPod to be my present this year. Thanks my beloved parents, I love them so much that they never bring me down and always put me in an important place of their hearts.

[Film watching] Two weeks notice

　　Two weeks notice is a romantic story between the boss of a great company with his secretary who is really wise and competent. Although George is a successful man in business, in some way he's just like an immature child. The appearance of Lucy changed his world totally, he could not decide anything by himself anymore without Lucy's opinion. Time passes, not until Lucy was leaving him that he started to understand how much he needs her and how much he loves her. And it was a happy ending because both of them finally confessed their love to each other.
　　After watching this movie, I think it is just a typical romance we always saw in the TV show or in the movie theater. To say it frankly, this movie will not last long in my memory because it just mainly talks about love and almost nothing in depth. To make this movie succeed, I think it should add more attractive plots and make the story more realistic but not fantastic like an imaginary story we often read before.

Daybreakers

　　I saw a movie yesterday called Daybreakers. It's a thriller and restricted movie. I was totally not intrested in seeing a thriller movie in the theater, but my cousin really wanted to see it. So I accepted and went with her. To be true, it's really an impressive movie! A person like me who just see Romance before love this movie as well! The movie is mainly talking about the world in 2019. Because of a severe disease, almost all the people become vampire. Human beings are dying out and they are all running from the chasing of vampires.
　　The scene was very interesting that all the vampires afraid of the sunlights because if they contact with the sun, they would be burned to death. They always start to work and go to school at night, when the sun is about to rise up, there would be an alarm to warn them back to the house immediately. The story was attractive and amazing that I want to recommend all my friends to see this movie. I hope they will like it!

Happy Mother's Day

　　Mother's day is on this Sunday. To celebrate with beloved mother, I came back to Taipei. I was wondering what present should I give my mom, so I asked for my friend's opinion. Alberta's viewpoint was really concrete, she said it's meaningless to buy a present to mom because we are still using our parents' money after all. It sounds right, so I decided to make an exquisite card for my mom instead. Besides, I asked my brother whether he wants to write the card with me because I think my mom will be happy to receive such a wonderful blessing from her two beloved children. My brother accepted happily and looked forward to the action from mother when she see our card.
　　After browsing the internet, I reserved a graceful restaurant for tomorrow. I have to prepare everything by myself this time because my father isn't in Taiwan and my brother won't do this kind of thing. I hope my mom will be very happy tomorrow, and knowing that we all love her deeply. Happy mother's day. :D

High Kick

　　After the Midterm, I addicted to a Korean Drama "High Kick2". The drama has 126 episodes, because it has only about 20 minutes each, I have already saw 40 episodes in 3 days. The drama combines love between children and parents, couples, and friends. Although it's said to be a comedy, in fact, I thought it's not just a comedy. I sometimes even wept when I saw some moved parts in the drama. I think I could finish the other 80 episodes in 5 days because I can't wait to see what happen to them. :D

Midterm is coming

　　Midterm's coming, I should focus on my textbooks and assignments totally. But something distracted my mind from schoolworks recently. We Started to prepare the orietation camp for the freshmen next semester, and I'm the member of the activity team. What's more, I'm the person in charge of two dancing performances. Everytime I requested to choreograph for shows, my mind couldn't but always think of those issues.
　　I like dancing very much, however, I understand that I'm still not a good dancer. I lack of the key point that every excellent dancers possess of no matter how hard I practice. That is, the soul of dancing. So, although I'm willing to and eager to dance, I always put to much pressure on myself. This time, I really want to do it well. But I have to tell myself, concentrate on the schoolworks first and get good grade. After the midterm, I could do everything I want and practice dancing with all my partners!

Greatest Love of All

　　I heard a young girl sang the graceful song Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston on Taiwan TV show The Million star. She's just 15 years old but has a beautiful voice which makes people eager to hear her singing. And it reminds me of the old memories, when I was a little girl I often listen to this song. The reason I love this song was not only because of the glamorous melodies but the touching lyrics. It's such an old and a great song that I believe it will always be inside my heart and lots of people's heart as well.

Elizabeth Town

　　I watched a movie, Elizabeth town, with my friend in libruary a few weeks ago. The story were so moved that I cried for about 5 times while watching it. I think it's such an amazing film that I would love to watch it over and over again. Now I want to type down some of the lines that were really great and interesting.
　　
1. As somebody once said, there's a difference between a failure and a fiasco.
2. If it wasn't this, it would be something else.
3. I have a very dark appointent with destiny.
4. You have five minutes to wallow in the delicious mystery.
5. No true fiasco ever begin as a quest for mere adequary.

　　The most impressive part for me was the scene that the main character of this movie reminds of his childhood - His father was going to drive him out to have a travel, he was excited and he told his father he loves him, "I love you,too", the father responded gently with a smile. I cried because the main character was missing his father, who died a few days ago. It gave me an idea that I should cherish every moment when my beloved still with me, because nobody knows for sure when the end will be and what would happen in the future.

Our Youtube

　　My cousin and I registered in youtube a few months ago. Because Kpop music is our favorite and we love singing as well, we decided to record some covers and put it on our youtube website. There's already two songs in our website, and those lyrics were rewrited from korean to chinese by us. Surprisingly, there were some people like our works and encouraged us to do more. It's certainly a good start.

　　On saturday, we sang our third song, which was our first time to sing in korean original version. In fact, we wanted to adapted it to chinese but we didn't have enough time to do it, so we recorded in korean first. I hope our website will become popular someday, that will give me a lot of strength to sing more great songs!

Controlling Temper

　　The things happened in this weekend gave me an idea that I could control my temper much well than before. I used to be an irritable person in front of my daddy. Although I am very close with my beloved father, our conversation sometimes ended in my anger. I know it's not quite appropriate to say so as a daughter, but I want to express it honestly. Daddy always has an ability to make the one whom he talks with into a bad mood in an invisible way, especially in front of his family. It's the common feeling what mommy and I have.

　　That day, when I was singing songs in KTV with my friends happily, daddy called me frequently. At first, the interruption of him was not a big deal for me that I knew he was just worrying about me. But my mood got worse and worse as I answered his phone for 10 times. My singing broke off by the phone calls that I couldn’t but to go out and answer it. When I went back to the KTV room, my songs certainly been skipped by others. Eventually, I lost a lot of chances to sing my favorite songs and all my friends were tired of his persistantly phone calls. Usually, I would refuse to answer his phone again to indicate my anger or talk to him in bad manners. But this time, I calmed myself down and talked to him in temper. Trying hardly and demand him to be more considerable next time.

　　Although mommy always irritated by daddy in such things as well, she would blame me at first for the way I talked to daddy whenever I got mad by him. This time, I changed my way and tried to discuss it with daddy gently, mommy not only agreed with me but also requested daddy never be a chatter person again that he would interfere with many people. I was astonished by these changes and made my mind to calm myself down at first whenever I got mad. It seems that the result would be more perfect and more peaceful !

A Great Performance

　　I saw an amazing dancing performance on Youtube yesterday. It's a dancing group consisted of 10 girls between 9-11 years old.

　　I was astonished by this show that I've never thought kids could do such moves. They not only do the moves so powerful, but also express their soul of hip-hop well. It stirred up my enthusiasm in dancing once again. I think I should grab the chance to practice dancing more and more in my college life, but it seems that I have not enough time to pursue this dream except I abandon some other things. Therefore, I think I stuck in a delimma again.

A New Semester

　　A semester has passed, which makes me astonished by the fast paces of time. There's an old saying, time waits for no man. I had never felt these words so deep inside my heart except this moment. Since my birth, 18 years has passed. In the past, everything seems far and vague to me that I thought I still have enough times. But now, the situation changes a lot. I started to wonder about my future and my dream. What career do I really want to do in the future? How to make my dream comes true? I asked myself these questions everyday within the winter vacation.

　　Last year, due to the freedom and the joyfulness of attending to college, I lost myself and didn't do my best on my schoolwork. Looking at the school report card of the first semester, though I have passed all the subjects, I know that I could do better than this. I have already experienced enough happiness and liberty since I attended university, so I thought it's time for me to do some changes. I'm no longer a child who should be spurred by others, but an adult who possess the ability of independent consideration. And I comprehend what I do could make myself a better person. Therefore, I make up my mind to work harder this year, and I hope I could finally make my dream comes true!

Success

　　What is success? For students, success is to make good use of what've learned. For teachers, success is to lead students to the proper road. Everyone has their different views about success due to the distinction of fields they are in. I think there're three main points how people become successful. One is because of their efforts, the second is lucky, and the last is their courage to take a risk.
　　Most of the time, it takes two of these three points to succeed. For example, as a 48-year-old woman, Susan still decided to pursue her dream and finally won the award in Britain's Got Talent which led her to release her own album and gain popularity all over the world. From this, we could see that her success was because of her efforts and her courage to take a risk. Although everyone has their diverse definitions about success, but there is one thing we all the same certainly. Being a human, do our best and show our own value of life, then we could be regarded as a successful person.

Go on a diet

　　Last time when I saw my high school classmate Sandy was three months ago. She was not a thin girl before. But this time I met her in Taipei, she became a charming and a confident girl due to her change. She said she had lost her weight from 58 to 45, about 13 kg in total! I always wanted to go on a diet to make my appearance be better but the efficiency was not so well, so I asked her how she did it. There are three main points she mentioned. First, don’t eat any food after 6p.m. Second, conserve about 1000 to 1200 calories a day. And the last, drink 2000cc water every day. I would like to obey these rules that I hope I could lose about 7kg. When the summer comes, I will wear my beautiful clothes and go out with a confident smile on my face!

[Film Watching]Camp Rock

　　Perhaps due to the production of Disney, the lines in the movie which are English seem simpler to non-native people. And that’s why I enjoyed this movie so much. Mitchie was the kind of girl who always hid her face and so afraid to tell the world what she has got to say. After her efforts and her friend’s help, she found who she is and no more hiding herself. Everyone in the world is unique, even if twins, they are still different from each other. Therefore, we should live our life in our own styles and do our best. Just like the main character Mitchie in this movie, she has a great talent in singing, and she showed it to everyone eventually which surprised all of the people who looked down upon her. If you don’t feel proud of yourself, no one would do. I think it’s the most significant point this movie wanted to tell us.

High School Reunion

　　January 3th, it’s our first high school reunion. Excited and nervous, I stepped in to the restaurant where I’ve been told by the host, my friend Skellig. I heard so many familiar voices and laughing before I saw them, memories pumped up to my mind just like the flood. Walked to the end of the restaurant, I waved my hand and said hello to all my classmates and our homeroom teacher Sherry, they smiled and greeted me happily which made me feel like I’ve back to the high school time. Some of them have changed a lot in appearance but most of them were same as before, after all we’ve graduated from high school just about 6 months. We chatted a lot, talked about our college life. Everything seemed great that I could felt the warmth between all of us. I wish we could be together very soon because I know high school friends' relationship could be forever and always the best!

Happy New Year

　　2010 is coming. I went back Taipei early so that I could be with my beloved family as fast as possible. We had our dinner in a restaurant, then we went back home to wait for the count down. Later, my friends came to my home and stayed with me, we really had a good time. They are my high school friends, we still kept in touch and made time to call each other since we attended different colleges.
　　Standing on the top of my home's building with my friends and my family, I made some wishes while the firecrackers let off on 101 building. But I should keep it in my mind since it would not work if I say it. I believe my wishes will come true if I make every endeavor to do my best. Wish everyone a happy new year !!!
