Pride and Prejudice

　　Because of my roomate's influences, I started to see a lot of movies these days.I was strongly recommended by my friend to watch this movie for many times and I finally did. She didn't make me feel disappointed due to my uncontrollable heartbeat after the movie came to an end on my computer screen. I tried to read the novel "Pride and Prejudice" when I was still a little girl, but I can't understand the story very well. The movie gave me a great chance to know what this popular novel talking about. Exactly, now I found that it's a story that deserves to be read over and over again, and your heart will fill with warm and passion, or something else. I will treasure this movie and watch it every now and then. I believe it will give me different feelings as time changes.
　　By the way, the view in this movie were breathtaking that I couldn't help but desiring to go Europe at once. And I love the accent and the way they talked, so graceful and wonderful that my heart melted by those words.

October Sky

　　A few weeks ago, Teacher Joe gave us a chance to see this movie, October Sky, in class. The movie was so moved that I couldn't help but cried several times during watching it. It combines with dream, hope, and love between family and friends. The most expressive part for me was the scene that his father finally accepted his dream and launched the last rocket for him. It was Homer's hardworking that made everyone became proud of him but not teasing him anymore. It's really a great movie that I will keep it in my mind forever and ever. Not only the movie brought me joy but much more feelings. Now, I feel myself not afraid of pursuing my dream anymore. If I believe in myself, I can !

The Great Performance

　　One Act Play was so excellent. Actors, actress, and staffs really worked very hard and did so well indeed. If I were the actress of the play, I would definitely forget the lines so I really proud of them due to their efforts. When the performance went to the end, I was so moved. Most important of all, all my friends I have invited came to see our show that day made me so happy.
　　I wish I had done a great job about my facial expressions when I was dancing on the stage. At first, I tried to smile while I was dancing on rehearsal, but all my friends didn’t notice. I thought it was all because my facial expressions were not so well, so I made every endeavor to dance in formal performance. Therefore, I had made a breakthrough that day. No longer has a poker faced, but livelier and more powerful. I wish I could do better next time, and my dancing could be fantastic one day.

Music

　　I love music. I like to listen to every style and every language of music. Not only the melodies are so beautiful but the lyrics are moved. I listen to Chinese, Korean, and English songs the most. And I always update my knowledge and information about when the new albums will release. Music is necessary to my daily life, so it’s not too hard for me to sing all the lyrics if I have heard it before. What's more, I used to write some lyrics when I was a high school student before. It makes me release my emotion more deeply and makes me relieve.

One Act Play

　　These days, due to the one act play of DFLL, I was busy practicing dancing with 3 classmates and a sophomore. This is one of the programs that perform during judges are busy counting the points of those dramas. The performance will be quite interesting owing to the mixture of many dancing styles and the unique choreography. I hope every audience could look forward to our show and enjoy it in a pleasure mood.

Orientation Camp

　　DFLL held an orientation camp in Yuan-Shan farm this weekend. It’s really an interesting trip; sophomores performed many shows and prepared a lot of games for freshmen. We really had a good time. At the same time, all of the freshman started to feel nervous because we all worrying about the next orientation camp that we should handle all of the things by ourselves next year.
　　Of all the games, the most impressive part for me was walking in the mountain with no lights in the night. Sophomores disguised as ghosts to scare us, and arranged barricades. I really afraid of ghosts and the darkness, so I screamed a lot that night whenever the fake ghosts suddenly popped up beside me. Despite of this, I still had a good time owing to the excitement of this game. We had a wonderful memory due to their efforts and enthusiasm, and I will keep this gorgeous trip in my mind forever and ever.

DFLL is the best

　　“DFLL is the best, DFLL catch your eyes, DFLL too cool for you!” Just like what we’ve said, we did a good job in many competitions indeed. First, our volleyball team of girls is the champion in the competition for freshman. At the moment we knew the news, boys cheered in excited, girls screamed loudly in happiness. It’s the first winning we’ve got since we became students in NCHU. The second, we got 2ed place in the competition of chorus for freshman. We sang” Somewhere out there”, which is an old English song. I could feel the atmosphere when I was singing on the stage with all of my classmates, everyone under the stage listened to us in silence. I was moved that I sang better than any time before. The third, we got 3rd place in the cheerleading competition. Of all the contests, it’s really the most exhausted one. We spend almost every night practicing cheerleading. Going back to dorm at 12:00 am is our normal route. In spite of that, I think the most significant thing was not what place we’ve got, but how much we’ve learned from these. And because of these contests, I made many friends in B class. That’s what I really cherish.

Through the rain

　　These days, because some of the reasons, my mind is in a mess. I can’t stop feeling sad, and I even start to cry when I was alone, so I told everything to one of my best friend Ke-Yu trying to make myself feel better. It was his words that comforted me a lot, and I was touched to cry that I could feel the warm from this friendship. “A wise person would always know how to let him/her feels better.” He said.
　　Before he signed off from the Msn, he reminded a song from Mariah Carey that we loved very much since we were high school student, “through the rain.” At the beginning of the chorus, the lyrics are “I can make it though the rain”, but in the end of the song, the lyrics turn to “you will make it through the rain.” This means that we must get through all the troubles, and if we believe ourselves, everything will be fine.

Dance

　　I went to the dance club of NCHU with my friend on Thursday night. When we arrived, we saw about 30 students practiced dancing there. But we were so shy to join them, so we lingered around the building for 20 minutes. However, we decided to dance with them because we thought that everything needs a beginning.

　　Although I have been learning dancing for many years, it still took me a lot of efforts to keep up with the dance move that night. Because I learned Jazz before, and the day we practiced was hip-hop style. In spite of that, I danced in a great mood owing to my fancy in this. Whenever I dance, it always reminds me to my high school life. I was a leader of dance club in high school, it was such a difficult mission to not only practice dancing but study well. I almost couldn't stand the heavy pressure for many times, but I still tried my best. It's all because I love dancing!

A Brand New Start

　　　Riding a bike, passing by the ZhongShin River, this is my daily routine in NCHU. Everything is new for me in university, living in the dorm, practicing cheerleaders, go to school by bike, and so on. However, due to the reason that I‘d never ride a bike on the road except in the park before, my skill in riding is not so good enough. What's worse, at the first day to school, I was about to collide with a big truck! Fortunately, I stopped my vehicle emergently; I can’t imagine that if I didn’t do that, what the result would be.
　　　Living in a new environment, my family and my friends’ faces always come up to my mind that I really miss them. This is my first time to live on myself without parents; I was not so sure that if I could handle it. But I believe I will be stronger in the future for that I have so many companions here. And I hope I can do well in university and improve my English technique to the best!
